GK FAQ, OK? LOL

What is this?
GenerateKindness.org gives away free Generate Kindness stickers to anyone who asks. It's a way of reminding others (and often oneself) to generate kindness.

Who's behind it?
Just a few goodhearted people who want to see the world be a kinder place.

What's the catch?
None. Ask for a sticker. Get one. Support the site if you feel so inclined.

Who pays for all this?
Kind people on the interwebs make donations. The founder covers what he can.

Get Stickers

There are several ways of getting a sticker. In order of expedience:

1) Download a PDF and Do it yourself

2) Make a donation
donors get a big GK sticker + a few smallies

3) Send a SASE to:

please note: because demand is greater than donations, online requests may take quite a long time to be fulfilled. If you really want a sticker, send a SASE, and send some stamps if you want to help!

THE IDEA

People ask for stickers, get stickers, put stickers somewhere, people see stickers, go to website, ask for stickers, and on and on forever.

The vision is to have a million stickers reminding people everywhere to be kind.

For now, our priorities are to send stickers first to people who donate, then to people who send SASE's. We send stickers to people who fill out the form on the website with whatever funds are left over from printing costs.

Get GK stuff

Pretty soon, we'll have a nifty widget from CafePress that'll put our entire webstore into this little box, but for now, we'll just invite you to check out our CafePress store and buy some stuff. Proceeds pay for printing and shipping stickers.

The Backlog
119,175 stickers have been requested. about 30% from outside the US. We're working on a dynamic calculation, but printing and shipping all these stickers will cost something like $15k-$20k.

Sending stamps with your SASE is a great way to help out, since most of the cost is postage.

Buying something from The GenerateKindness Store is the best way to support GK - gets us some $ and it also gets you some cool gear.

And as always, cash helps, too.
